Let me introduce myself: My name is Billye Gayle but I go by Gayle. I just turned 60 so I'm a little beyond middle age; I live by the motto 'A Courageous Life is an Adventure'.
I had a stroke when I was 30 that left me a little handicapped but I don't let that stop me. After 26 years working as a counselor, I now work for the TX Department of State Health Services as a Training Specialist; training counselors and social workers throughout the state.
My life is indeed very full. I am divorced, with a wonderful 35 year old son that just got married again to a sweet woman with a 17 year old daughter. I am an active member of the Red Hat Society, AA and a communty church. I also do volunteer work for Hospice.
I do lots of traveling and write about it on my web site at
www.gayleboles.net . When people first see me all they notice is the roller-walker I use, but my joyful spirit soon distracts from that.
