Ok, I just found this wonderful site and I'm in love with it already. I really needed to read some of these blogs after my day! I was written up for putting my family first and leaving early on a Friday afternoon when an emergency popped up at my house. I didn't follow the correct "protocol" of phone calling when rushing home to be with my 16 year old daughter who had an issue with her step-dad. For those of you who have re-married, you know what I mean. I want to walk right in there on Monday and give her @#$!... um, my notice and storm out. But, then what? Financially, I can't do that. Isn't life too short to deal with little 26 year olds who want to run the world by the time their 30, at the expense of their family? Why do I feel like I'm in a dead end job, dead end 2nd marriage. Kudos to those who walk away from 2nd marriages. For some reason, I can't do it yet. Any advice for this 44 year old has been?

I wish I had advice for you, but I would be thinking the same way if I was in your position. And in some ways I am. It really sucks!!
