Hello to all,

I’m a 53-yr old single, grandmother of five of which includes 5-mo.old identical twin girls. I work as a counselor in the “addiction’s” field and a continuing student. I have 1- year left to complete my BA in Social Sciences focusing on “women studies. I have several personal interests but unfortunately, have never taken the needed time to develop any of them into a personal hobby. Being a critical- PTSD survivor myself, I have spent a considerable amount of time pursuing interests in helping other survivors along with seeking interests in personal self-care such as healthy lifestyles, living a life of serenity and am currently taking a close look at practicing” meditation”. I’ve joined this site for two- major reasons, #1- I am over 50 and #2- am having a great personal need to communicate with other women about our middle-age issues.
