It literally amazes me how we can be touched by grace at such unexpected times. Something happened a couple of months ago that is still warming my heart. On the way to church, I drive through a lovely neighborhood with a park and pretty pond on the south side of the street.
Well, the other day I came to the stop sign where the crosswalk leads into the park and there was this cute little girl, probably seven years old, waiting to cross the street. She had a really darling little black & white puppy with her. I smiled at them and motioned for them to go ahead and cross. She, with the puppy dancing along beside her on a leach, started the trek across the street. Suddenly she stopped mid-stride and turned to me, with a big smile on her face, and threw me a kiss.
They then continued on their merry way to their next adventure. That little gesture was so cute and sweet that it continues to bring me joy every time I stop at that sign. It was like a hug from God.

Those little moments are so special! They make you smile all day. Thanks for sharing. They're also a good reminder of how our little positive moments can affect those with whom we share them!

What a great story! I have a good friend who calls moments like those 'gratitude attacks'. It's when a sense of gratitude and 'all is right with the world' pervades our being. This sounds like one of those!
