Well, I can't honestly say that it has worked for me YET, but I do believe that if I am negative, bad things happen more readily. I feel that I leave myself open to the bad stuff and close myself off to the good things.
Since reading the book and watching the video, I have changed my attitude and my mind-set. If nothing else, it makes me feel better.

Definitely works for me, no question about it. Whether you call it the Universe or God or Spirit or whatever. The world is an abundant place. Open yourself up to it and you shall receive. For me it was a question of getting the right mindset and things just started happening. Just remember though, in the words of the Rolling Stones, "You don't always get what you want, you get what you need"! It's an important distinction!

One thing I've learned about it is that it doesn't happen overnight. I think The Secret de-emphasizes one key part of the picture, it takes a lot of hard work and time for things to happen. You have your vision, you believe you can do it, then you just have to buckle down to do the work.

I do believe that the mindset helps me weather the ups and downs. I still get the downs, but I am much more philosophical about them which I think helps me get to the ups that much faster :)
