The Fabulous Factor: Let Your Light Shine Through! Hot

What does your heart long for?

On a scale of 1 to 10, what is the quality of your job/relationship/family life/creative life?

Midlife is when many of us start asking ourselves, “Is this all there is?”  Maybe we have been successful and fulfilled in our career, but we still haven’t found that special someone.  Or perhaps, we’ve taken a back seat to our family’s needs while starving our creative side.  Or, we have underachieved in our career because we put our spouse’s job first.

Midlife is the perfect time to reassess and make some adjustments!  If you want to put some ‘juice’ back into any of these aspects of your life, we have the workshop for you!  Gigi Sage is back by popular demand and this time she’ll be doing a full day’s workshop to apply her keen Curiosity Coaching skills to help you move the needle up on any area of your life you’d like to energize.

In this highly interactive workshop, she will interview each participant individually to reveal what ‘lights them up’ as well as help everyone sharpen their own skills in ‘lighting people up’ using thoughtful questioning and visual techniques.

You will:

Discover how to take your business, projects, relationship, or career to the next level

Gain insight into what ‘lights you up’ and feeds your soul

Open your eyes to the opportunities waiting for you

Learn questioning skills that reveal how to get what you want

This will be an enlightening and engaging experience for any woman who wants to make the next part of her life the best part!

CareerSmarts For Uncertain Times: Drill For Your Diamonds
image

Are you a woman in her 40s, 50s or 60s who...

Is worried about her job in this economy?
Has been laid off and is having a hard time finding a new job?
Has a job, but doesn’t have the ‘right’ job?
Wants to manage her current career more wisely?

The economic melt-down has all of us nervous about our jobs and the future of our careers.

What to do?  Develop CareerSmarts.  We've partnered with Kate McLagan of Right Management to help you recession proof your career.  Kate works with global companies such as Dell and AMD to help their laid off employees repackage themselves and find new jobs.

Here is what Kate says...

Moving through a layoff, preparing yourself for a possible layoff, or just wisely managing your career in your current organization requires you to understand what your core and unique strengths, or ‘diamonds’, are.  Being clear on those 3 to 5 special qualities takes you beyond being just an employee or job-seeker with a laundry list of skills and job titles to being able to confidently convey your real value to an organization.  That makes you stand out in the crowd and in this economy that is critical.

You will learn how to:

•    To drill down to reveal your unique core job strengths, or ‘diamonds’?
•    Your ‘diamonds’ help you find the ‘hidden’ 85% of jobs that lie beneath the surface of job boards and ‘formal’ job postings?
•    Your ‘diamonds’ form the basis of your all important ‘personal brand’?
•    Your ‘diamonds’ help you network effectively into the right job for you?
•    Your ‘diamonds’ will help you ace that important job interview?

If you answered ‘yes’ to any of those questions, join WomenBloom members to hear Kate McLagan shed some light on this subject.  And, meet other cool midlife women like you!

Dream Jobs Inc. Hot

Looking for part-time, flex-time or projct based work?  Dream Jobs Inc. may be able to help!

Jenny Krengel recognized the need many professional women have to on ramp and off ramp their career while child rearing or caring for dependent parents.  Leaving a very successful career in enterprise software sales to care for her young children, she eventually decided to go back to work part time.  That's when she found out just how 'forgotten' women were who sought part-time, flex-time and project based work

She began researching and found that larger companies were beginning to realize the huge (and expensive) 'brain drain' this scenario represented to them.  They really had no way to track professionals who were off ramping, or utulize those who were bright and experienced, but looking for part time or project work.

Voila!  Dream Jobs Inc. was born.  Jenny has developed a way to match such professional women with the companies who are looking for them.  Visit www.dreamjobsinc.com to see how it might assist you!
